i'm currently on Fedora 23 running

Kdenlive 15.12.2
Using:
KDE Frameworks 5.21.0
Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1)
The xcb windowing system

Any time I add video to the timeline for editing and I try to view it in the project monitor Video can't be scrubbed threw, no matter what video I put in it. If I jump backwards or forwards audio will play fine but video won't play until the playhead catches up. audio plays fine but video is completly unusable. Any thoughts?

What type of raw footage are you using? Is it a high definition format? If so - do you have proxy clips enabled ?

It doesn't matter what format I use. Since the upgrade to 15.x the playhead doesn't allow me to scrub threw video here is an example of the problem

I found the problem. it somehow ended up setting mlt threads to 2. set it to 1 and everything is working fine now.
