Hi all,

I have just installed KDEnlive 15.12.3 in Opensuse Leap 42.1 but there is no "Record Monitor". Not eaven in the "View" menu. Do I have to get anything more to get the Record Monitor? A USB-Webcam is connected and in Settings it is seen.

I guess most of the people here are on kdenlive 16.04 and so it may be hard to answer your question.

I am not at my notebook at home right now, but did you check the menu below the clip/project monitor? Some time ago, a burger menu has been added to configure recording - as far as I remember.

If you find the + sign in the Clip Monitor, click it. There are the recoding options (in kdenlive 16.04). if there is no + sign in your installation I cannot help you, sorry.

Coud it be that kdenlive does not work in the Gnome Deskop environment?

Try installing oxygen icon theme.
