Hello,
I use ubuntu 17.10 and the latest version of Kdenlive. Unfortunately I can not see the menu bar. Where do I have to adjust something? Thanks for a hint Bernhard |

I've never used kdenlive but looking at a screen shot and wondering - maybe hit Alt+V to see if that brings up the 'View' top tier menu item?
I know in some browsers these days, the main menu;| File | Edit | View | etc is collapsed by default and in those cases, just hitting Alt opens it up. |

Thanks for the answer.
’Alt’ displays the menu in other applications, but not in kdenlive. There, this feature is completely missing. Bernhard |

In most kde apps, ctrl+M will toggle the menu bar.
You might also check kdenlive's settings files to see if they have a config option set to not show the menu bar.
