Hi there,
is anyone here able to build a version from git successfully? I'm using the build using the scripts from https://github.com/mltframework/mlt-scripts/ but am (for a while now) unable to get it to compile on my Ubuntu MATE Artful 17.10 x86_64. E.g., just tried with mlt-scripts 91e22537 and get a compile error about 5 minutes in:
Which seems to be this, trivially fixable, bug: https://github.com/voidplayer/libepoxy/ ... d6c910b571 That's been known for half a year now: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384539 However, I'm unable to manually patch because the auto-build scripts will re-clone and git reset --hard. Also it's pretty frustrating that the build starts every time from the very beginning even if it fails midway through (and much already suceeded). The version included in Ubuntu Artful is horribly bug-riddled to the point of being unusable (crashes *litterally* every 5-10 minutes, effect settings get "forgotten" when moving video around, aspect ratio is messed up when using proxy clips, etcetcetc). Can someone please help me to get a version from git to compile on my box? I'd love to cut some video with kdenlive, but getting there is a rocky road Thanks in advance and cheers, Joe |
