i suggest to all Windows user to rename the old kdenliverc (if you are using a previous version of Kdenlive) file to kdenliverc.old (location is c:/users/USERNAME/appdata/local) .. to find this path is necessary to launch with [Windows+R] this command: APPDATA

this is necessary when switching to Kdenlive 17.12 to 18.04 (this solve the QT issue when rendering)
this is a link to the 18.04.01d build for windows: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 1d-w64.zip

i suggest also to place the Kdenlive folder on a "User" subfolder (like Desktop or USER root... or documents...) and not on ROOT of HD or PROGRAM FILES folder. (this because for now kdenlive.exe has not a "Manifest file" that can request user to RUN Kdenlive, exe as an administrator.
placing the Kdenlive folder on an "user" subfolder make the main app can save all preferences or settings without requesting any Administrative privilege.
