Hi,
I installed Kdenlive 18.04.0 using Flatpak. Very convenient compared to using AppImage since Flatpak will update automatically. When I tried to "Download Render Profiles", the process failed with this message "Loading of providers from file: http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml failed" I am not running a proxy, nor is my VPN connected. When I try to connect to " http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml" in a browser tab, I receive the message: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <providers><provider><id>api.kde-look.org</id><location>https://api.kde-look.org/ocs/v1/</location><name>api.kde-look.org</name><termsofuse>https://api.kde-look.org/content/terms</termsofuse><register>https://api.kde-look.org/register</register><services><person ocsversion="1.6"/><content ocsversion="1.6"/></services></provider></providers> Any ideas on how to resolve this? Is it a problem with the Flatpak build? |

Hi, ambro
It is really hard to say. Which kde flavor are you using right now? In KDE Neon the repository are updated with the last packages, as you could see below. pkcon search kdenlive Buscando por detalles [=========================] Cargando caché [=========================] Consultando [=========================] Finalizado [=========================] Disponible kdenlive-4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1.i386 (ubuntu-xenial-universe) non-linear video editor Disponible kdenlive-4:17.08.3-0neon+16.04+xenial+build34.amd64 (neon-xenial-main) non-linear video editor Disponible kdenlive-data-4:17.08.3-0neon+16.04+xenial+build34.all (neon-xenial-main) non-linear video editor (data files) Disponible kdenlive-dbg-4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1.amd64 (ubuntu-xenial-universe) non-linear video editor (debugging symbols) Disponible kdenlive-dbg-4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1.i386 (ubuntu-xenial-universe) non-linear video editor (debugging symbols) Disponible kdenlive-dbgsym-4:17.08.3-0neon+16.04+xenial+build34.amd64 (neon-xenial-main) Debug symbols for kdenlive I could recommend you to remove the installation and try to search with pkcon (the package has a man page under the terminal window: man pkcon). Before installing, please execut the following commands: pkcon refresh pkcon update Afterwards, if you found broken dependencies run the following command. pkcon repair Thats all, hope it help you. |

Version 18.07.70 as an App Image works for me.
There is only one profile and it lives at https://store.kde.org/p/1164337/ So I think your version might be pointing to an old repository of profiles |
