Hello,
This time a short notice: new 18.08.1 windows build is uploaded to KDE servers. It does not bring very significant usability improvement (play/pause bug is still unfortunately not yet solved)... but on the packaging side, I could upgrade Qt to 5.11 thanks to a fix in OpenGL code, and I tried to integrate DrMingw crash reporting tool, that allows to get detailed crash back-traces, and hence much more useful bug reports! I also cleaned up a bit the archive of useless binaries (gained 36% size!). Next I would like to solve the play/pause bug, work on building directly from Windows using KDE Craft (instead of cross-compiling with MXE) so that Windows devs can help more easily, and finally switch to the new code being rewritten for more than a year! Cheers! |

Hi Vpinon. Thanks for the update (even the download link works). Playing the timeline is smoother now.
Maybe the “3 application processes persist in memory after closing main kdenlive window” can be fixed as well (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393836). To avoid running the kill-batch script after closing/before opening Kdenlive. |
