Hi all, new user and first post here.
I was looking for a tool to be able to edit ts/mpeg4 videos and landed here. My main system is a win box but also use Debian vm's for some server stuff + RPi's. What is the best distro for a fairly recent i3 / dual core +HT / 4GB / SSD system? I noticed that for Debian there is no recent, stable release so I'm willing to try something else. From a review that I've found, Slackware was used but development stopped at 2016 so maybe not the best choice. TIA Roel |

It really doesn't matter, as kdenlive's appimages work anywhere, and has the latest builds.
Any *buntu should be fine, as there is a PPA repo with current KDenlive. I imagine many distros also probably have similar options. KDE Neon has the latest version automatically, as will the rolling-release distros like Arch and derivatives. So, really, pick one, grab the appimage (in most cases), and go
