Hi,
I would love to use the new kdenlive version, but unfortunately, it is not starting on my computer.

My system:
Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS
Intel® Core™ i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz × 4
64 bit.

When I start the app image `kdenlive-19.08.1-x86_64.appimage ` , I see the following message:
Could not display "kdenlive-19.08.1-x86_64.appimage"
There is no application installed for "AppImage application bundle" files.
Do you want to search for the application to open this file?

When I install kdenlive-19.08.1 from the ubuntu software store, it does not start at all, not even an error message.

Also the previous version, `kdenlive-19.08.0-x86_64.appimage` is not starting.

Only the version kdenlive-19.04.appimage starts properly.

I appreciate any help. Thank you!

When you upgrade to Ubuntu 19.04 should solve the issue.

Hi, thanks for the tip, but I want to stay with 18.04 because nearly everything is fine how it is, and I fear that after the update, other things tend to break.
Any other suggestions of where the error could be?
