Using the Windows version - Win 10 on a Lenovo T580 laptop. I had Kdenlive working fine, but recently, upon startup, the screen flashes quickly looking fine (like less than a second) and goes to this - link to image to follow:

I can not access or change anything and while I can sometimes "find" the menu here, it doesn't affect much. Kind of stuck here. Maybe a glitch with the video card or driver? Any ideas?

Thanks.

Your intel graphic card driver was updated. Downgrade the graphic card driver to version x.6709. See here: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... ard_driver.

Yes! It worked. What a knuckle head. I did this fix when I did the original installation and must have inadvertently performed some broad upgrade recently that included the graphics card update.

Maybe time to do a dual boot Linux setup to avoid this Windows stuff.

Thanks.

Glad to hear it works. Yes, we have not found the root cause so far.
