Hi guys, I hope that someone is willing to help me. I have started to work with the appimage version of kdenlive (the 19.08.) and made the experience that it was very unstable (e.g. it crashed all the times when trying to move several clips at once on the timeline). The appimage is a nightmare to use in my case.

I now installed the stable version 19.08.2 adding the ppa in my ubuntu 18.04. However, since the installation, I cannot access my project and video clips anymore that I have on a second HDD. Can you help me to set the right permission guys? Please "go easy" on the explanations, I am not a very skilled Linux user.

you can't switch to a modern version of Ubuntu? because i see a lot of issues related to Appimages on old distro...
the latest 19.12 (or 19.12.1 maybe on a week) version as a lot of bug fixed.

Happy new year! hmmm...I usually stick to LTS-Versions of ubuntu and would prefer to keep on this way...I would have to wait to April/May 2020 for the release 20.04 to appear Any other solution to help on short term?
