Missing filters in AppImage and snap

Sat May 16, 2020 12:21 pm
Hi,

since distributions like Ubuntu do not keep up with latest versions and bug fixes of kdenlive, I tend to use the AppImage packages, and recently tried the snaps.

But both AppImage and snap versions come with a little set of filters and transitions only, important functions are missing (I'm not really sure which filters belong to frei0r, but my guess is that these and other filters are completely missing in appimage and snap packages.

Is this a packaging bug or is this intended?

And if the latter, what is the proposed procedure to install the missing filters?

there are no missing effects on appimage.. (no reports about that)
can you try latest build? https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kden ... age_Build/

can you please write what filters are missing (some names?) a lot of them was removed on 19.12 because they are "old" and contain bugs or issues.
