hello. when i try to start the appimage it starts up but when i try to open a project or add a file to the blank project after startup the program freezes

it was working fine earlier today until i rebooted the system

i installed a new version of libxcb before i rebooted. i don't know if that has anything to do with it. i tried upgrading all packages to see if it was a version mismatch or something but it still won't open any files

i've tried the appimage and the version installed by my package manager and they both freeze after trying to load a project or add a media file to a blank project
