Linux User installing kdenlive on my brothers Windows PC, and it comes up with MLT Module avformat (ffmpeg) missing Idk how to fix it without apt ahhh Joking aside, I couldn't find anything on that issue on google, maybe I searched wrongly I installed and selected my own FFMPEG build in kdenlive, I didn't go as far as building Melt tho, I'd do that tomorrow if noone here has an idea Happy hacking, Lena |

the full installer of Kdenlive (that have ffmpeg and any other file) is here: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 64-gcc.exe
BTW... what version of Windows? |

New info: I may have installed Windows N on the machine, that might cause such an issue, if that helps anyone troubleshooting
I tried installing the media feature pack or whatever it's called, and that didn't help even after reinstalling kdenlive But that makes me think that maybe I'll have better luck with the standalone version, if that includes all the binaries? Also, tested on another Windows machine (probably not N), and kdenlive works |

Ah, wrote my comment at the same time you did Win 10 21H1 I'll try that installer, tho I doubt it'll change anything since the normal one you get from the website includes ffmpeg too |

Your Version doesn't start at all for me, but an old 20.08 Standalone does Current Standalone doesn't Makes me think that a combination of a library change somewhen between 20.08 and 21.08 messed up the install for N systems I'll use the 20.08 Standalone now, seems easiest tbh Thanks for ur help tho |
