Hii
When installing latest Kdenlive in Kubuntu 20.04 and Windows 10, I get this message right at the end of the install ... does anyone know what it means? "Unable to create io-slave. Can not find io-slave for protocol 'tags'." It's on a brand new system pc dual boot, new OS linux and windows installs. |

On Windows 10/11 try this: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kden ... 64-gcc.exe
and execute it using right mouse button "execute as administrator" |

Hi Thank for your reply. But may I ask what is that? Don't want to run anything I don't understand. Also, any explanation to what this error is about? And any ideas about on Ubuntu? |

it's an official Kdenlive daily build... you can find every day a new one here: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kden ... y_mingw64/
i have no explanation for the error on Windows because i never seen it on Windows.. i'm using daily build on Windows 10 and Windows 11 without this kinf of issues. (and i think this is related to low permission to installer... some components were not created correctly using a not-administrator account and/or without administrative privileges) |
