Hi!

When trying to import an mp4 file recorded with my smartphone as a clip into kdenlive, I only get the audio track, but no video. However, kaffeine plays the same file without any issues (audio + video). The only issue reported by kdenlive's config wizard is "No hardware encoders found.", but I believe this should only affect rendering, but not file import. Is there anything else which needs to be installed and/or configured manually such that mp4 files can be imported into kdenlive?

Here are some details about my system configuration:

• Linux openSUSE Leap 15.4
• kdenlive-21.12.3-bp154.1.38.x86_64
• kaffeine-2.0.18-lp154.85.56.x86_64
• ffmpeg-5-5.1.2-lp154.35.1.x86_64
• libopenh264-7-2.3.1-pm154.1.1.x86_64

Sorry fo the late reply i've lost the discussion...
well..i'm using latest nighlty version of kdenlive for Windows.. and the clip is placed on timeline as VIDEO/AUDIO (i was hoping that the issue can be the clip format)
