A "No Parking" road sign appears

Sat Apr 22, 2023 11:32 am
A few days ago I switched to a new version of the OS: Fedora-38.

It is no longer possible to transfer clips from the trash to the timeline. I do like this:

1. I start KDEnlive
2. I create a new project with default parameters.
3. I load several clips into the basket.
4. I hold down the left mouse button and try to drag the clip onto the timeline.

Immediately, an icon that looks like a "No Parking" road sign appears and nothing happens.

How to deal with this problem?

Hmm, which version of kdenlive? Installed or appimage?

Also make sure that if your video has an audio track that there is one in the timeline. Usually they are paired like V1/A1 and V2/A2.

Hope it helps ...

Code: Select all
$ dnf show appimage
Fedora 38 - x86_64
. . .
RPM Fusion for Fedora 38 - Free - Updates
Error: No matches found among packages

Yes. I checked for both files with audio and without audio.

Thanks for the info.

I was referring to the kdenlive appimage. Looks like you installed via the Fedora repository/app store.

There is some discussion in other forum about Fedora having packaging issues with kdenlive. So I strongly suggest you try the kdenlive appimage from the kdenlive.org website.
