Here is a nice tutorial about actions: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tut ... g_KActions
It uses the document-new button, but it is easy to change. The icon you maybe are looking for is named media-playback-start.png |

KDE tries to follow the xdg icon naming spec from here: http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-n ... atest.html
Other than that you can go to the directory of your icon set and see how they are named, without the ending .png |

The tutorial mentions it but doesn't IMHO emphasis it enough:
if there is a KDE Standard action (KStandardAction namespace from kdeui) or a KDE Standard Gui Item (KStandardGuiItem namespace, same library) it should be preferred over using a direct name lookup. They have additional advantages like standard string, shortcut, etc. Cheers, _ http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-apid ... ction.html http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-apid ... iItem.html
