Hi everyone !
I'm writing a 3D game engine, and I would like to integrate a sound library. As I use Qt for the core, I may want to use Phonon. I had a look at the API which is very simple and very convenient for media players, but I could find nothing to make 3D sounds, that means sound which is left/right/far/near depending of the linked object's position in the scene. Is there a way to do this easily with Phonon ? Thanks for you answers, and congratulations to all KDE developers for their great job !! |

Phonon is indeed simple and it will not ever get some features. 3D sound, I do not know. KDEGames went through the same and decided to develop a wrapper for OpenAL.

connect(post, SIGNAL(readSignature()), qapp, SLOT(quit()));
