KDE4 with SyncML protocol?

Sun Jan 17, 2010 8:53 am
Hi there,

I just want to know is Kmail, KContact or KOrganizer will integrate SyncML protocol in the near future?

I need to know cause I am planning to purchase a new smartphone, one of the factor i consider is SyncML protocol implementation.

Thanks

One of our Google Summer of Code students has been working on SyncML support for Akonadi in 2009.

He's (as far as I know) currently investigating integration of the SyncEvolution framework with Akonadi and KDE.

Cheers,
