Kubuntu 10.10 - KDE 4.5.1 - Kdenlive 0.7.8
Sorry for the stupid question, but how I activate the Vectorscope, Histogram and RGB Parade windows (docks?)? When I select Vectorscope it appears over the Project window, hiding the clip; in the tutorial two windows are shown: one for the Vectorscope and other for the clip. RGB Parade crashes the app, and I didn't find out how to activate the Histogram. TIA, Pipoca S. Paulo - Brazil |

Marko,
Please see in the attached image what happens when I drag the window: the project window is dragged, not the vectorscope's. Thanks for your reply. |

HM, does not happen to me here... I can drag any of the windows, when its on the top.
Un-maximize kdenlive and try to drag "outside". Does that work? |

Oh, I see now what is the problem! There are two vectorscopes available...
You are using the Frei0r vectorscope from the "effects" list - this outputs to the project window. If you want a separate vectoescope window, you must use the Kdenlive vectorscope, which is accesible through the tab under the monitors (if there is no such tab, check the "view" menu and enable vectorscope.) |

There's no such option in my View menu, only these (and they're all checked):
- Show Title Bars - Show Timeline - Project Tree - Effect List - Effect Stack - Transition - Clip Monitor - Project Monitor - Record Monitor - Undo History -------------- - Main Toolbar - Extra Toolbar I cannot find where to enable the Vectorscope and Histogram windows... Thanks for your reply. |

Strange... Are you sure yours is v078?
If yes, I can't help you any further... maybe one of the developers coul help? |

You might be running a pre-release instead of an official release.

I installed from the official Kubuntu repositories, using the GUI packet manager. Could you please inform how do I get the official release?

SOLVED!
The Ubuntu page of the downloads section contains all instructions for installing the official release. Now everything is working fine. Congratulations to the dev team - Kdenlive is an excellent product. Thanks everybody. |
