I am an avid Sony Vegas Pro user. Though, I can only use this in windows. I also love linux (have two linux machines), but the one thing lacking was a decent video editor. I love what kdenlive can do, but is there some way to have test with shadow effcts similar to sony vegas without using .png images and the like? Aslo, how ofter does kdenlive get updated between revisions, and is all the work compatible with each new revision?
