Cannot seem to figure out how to do this simple transition.

What I want is for a still picture with transparent background to fade into the main video clip.

The main video clip is still visible during the fade in except where the picture now overlaps and eventually becomes completely opaque.

Composite the picture over the video and use Composite's ability to keyframe the opacity.
