hi
i use version 8 from sunab-svn repository. I have a big problem with pan and zoom, i can't use with sucess .. i don't know how it work or there is a bug ? when i change value with keyboard, it doesn't save the modification. Sometimes it change the dimension and the position of object alone ... the field "taille" doesn't work, i modify the taille ie scale, the frame in yellow change but not the object inside .. Adjust to original size doesn't work ... I have almost the same problem with composite transition (yellow frame move alone and sometimes the object (the string character for example) go outside the yellow frame but move with it ) .. may be it is an installation problem, but i de-install and re-install and it's the same ... if you have doc or video about using it ... Thanks |

I saw the problem with entering keyboard values in rev 5594 yesterday, but it seems to be fixed in rev 5598 today.

hi
here is a video of the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeO7qdF75n0 it's with the composite transition, same behaviour than pan and zoom effect. about 32 s you see the yellow sqare change alone of position and size ... It's a bug or i don't know how to use ... if someone could test the same and tell me what happen ... ps: tidriss, the rev 5598 seems to be a traduction modification. thanks |

There was an issue with values not saved that was fixed in svn rev. 5595, please test it. I cannot reproduce your issue with current svn.

You should post a kdenlive project that shows the problem you are complaining about. That will make it easy for other people to try to reproduce the problem.

You wil see the yellow sqare moving alone so the transition is unusable ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJmkx9eGvMk if you can help (bug or wrong utilisation of parameter ?) thanks |

Hi.
Thanks for the project file. I had trouble opening it, because for some reason, the numbers are using a comma ',' instead of a dot '.' as separator. For example the kdenlivedoc version attribute is: version="0,86" This causes troubles on opening the project file for me and might be the cause for your problem. I cannot see clearly in your video, but if the parameters of the composite transition also use commas, that might cause the randomness you are experiencing. Now the problem is that I am not sure where the commas come from. Probably some kind of locale setting, but I need to reproduce to find a solution... |

hi
You are right, i change my locale from french to CH tf@tf-laptop:~$ locale LANG=fr_CH.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=fr_FR:en LC_CTYPE="fr_CH.UTF-8" ........... I create a new projet and composite transition work again (and i see version="0.86" in project file). I don't know what happen with french locale because i have test on 4 computers under ubuntu (2 physics, 2 vituals) with french locale .... with same problem on all ... I don't know the 'border effect' with change of locale but you find the problem. I will post again if i find some things about ... Thanks you very much again ... |
