Hi, I've got finally a new computer, so I copied all my kdenlive projects on it from the old one. The problem is that the titles in my projects are still at the right place, but in the rendering window I get just a black image with an "INVALID" white string written on it. Looking inside the project file I guessed that the titler builds a png image that is inserted in the clip in a transparent way (the user knows nothing about the image). Is there a way to make the titler rebuild the lost png images?
Thanks. kalb |

Sorry, I forgot, Kdenlive 0.7.5 on ubuntu 9.04, KDE 4.2.2.
Anyway the question could be expanded: is there a way to make the projects portable from a computer to another just copying the project folder? Obviously the project folder should contain all the clips and the project itself, but the absolute path where the project is moved might be the same on both computers. I solved just editing the project file in a word processor and replacing all the old path ocurrences with the new one, and it works, except for the titles. Btw, thanks for the great job you're doing. |

Solved: just had to right-click on the clip in the project structure and click "Reload clip".
I'm doing a lot of dirty hand work editing the project files, because I'm working on a project that started in kdenlive 0.5, so importing it in 7.5 gives some troubles, but since it's a big project I'm trying to save as much as I can of the work I did. Thanks. kalb |
