Effects lost?!

Sat May 24, 2008 9:15 pm

Hi,

first, it is possible, that my english is not the best, so forgive me.

It seems, kdenlive is, what i'm looking for. :o)

Today, i use kdenlive 0.6.0-svn first time.

Installed by Synaptic in Ubuntu 8.04.

At the same time i'm working with it, looking in the wiki (german).

There was something about an effect for speed (german: geschwindigkeit). But there is no one in kdenlive, i can't find it. Other Effects are there, but that one not.

Did i miss something?

One more point. :o)

some effects show no result.

Are some still "work in progress" and just without function in there?

Does anyone know why is there this problem and is this workaround good?

How do I become the owner of my own program?

First, if you are using the 0.7 version of kdenlive, you really should not have to do this, at this point. If you have, its a bug, and you should file it at kdenlive.org/mantis.

Editing the file requires that you have the permissions to edit it. If you have installed from a package, the "root" user will be the owner of the files. You can check e.g. this page for some more info on file ownership: http://badcomputer.org/unix/permissions.bot

For crashes, please do file a bug report at http://kdenlive.org/mantis
