My list of transitions do not include PIP (picture in a picture). Is there something I need to install to get this transition?

you can make a pip using the "Composite" transition: just move and resize the red box (the pip) as you like, and set the start and end keyframes to get your desider result

I want to create scrolling credits but the composite transition can only scroll one screen of text; nothing longer. Someone in this forum earlier mentioned using PIP transition to do scrolling credits. I don't have the PIP transition. How can I get it?

was that post referring to an older (0.5) version of kdenlive? it has been totally rewritten to get to 0.7, and i don't know if you can get to that result... maybe you could try "Wipe" transition... i'm sorry but i'm not able to test this at the moment
