audio crossfade

Fri Dec 05, 2008 7:26 pm

I know I can get a video crossfade using composite transition but what about audio? Audio embedded on the tracks get mixed without fading. Ok, I can use the fade audio effect but it's a little tricky. Isn't there any way to get both audio and video crossfade toghether in a simple way?

One more question: Is there some way to get a non linear audio fade effect?

Thanks,

Leonardo

PS many thank to kdenlive developers! Kdenlive works really well and get the job done. I really missed such an application before.

I don't think there is a combined video/audio crossfade at the moment. Feel free to create a feature request at kdenlive.org/mantis.

If you use a volume effect on the clip, you can dobble click on the volume line, to introduce new keyframes, and "simulate" a non linear fade. However, it will be made of linear segments. ..
