reverse effect would be a nice effect

This is feature request 1495 in mantis. http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=1495 dating from June 2010.

You could try voting for it in mantis. Who know if that will have any effect? And if a developer does not develop the effect for you - you can allways ask for your money back on the software. ;-)

Hmmm. This http://www.kdenlive.org/forum/once-again-playing-clips-backwards-reverse-negative-speed thread has some MLT command line stuff that might do this for us. I have not tried it yet.

I wonder if this could be included in Kdenlive as one of those jobs that you run from the clips in the project tree. Like you do for video stabilise.

Wow. Just reversed a clip with this command.

melt -profile dv_pal_wide framebuffer:in_vid.dv?-1 -consumer avformat:reversed_vid.dv

I found out what profile options I had with this

melt -query "profiles"

Can I create a render profile that does this I wonder?
