is there a way to do a complete push transition in 0.75? I can wipe in another video but cannot make the one video push the original video out of the screen. I have tried both Wipe and Slide on various settings but still no go. What do I need to do?

You should be able to do it with 2 Slide transitions atop a black clip. Put the black clip on the bottom track with clip A on track above and clip B on third, topmost track. Then, add transitions. On the top transition, set it to transition with Track 2 (the track with the black clip) instead of Auto.
