hello folks

i cant seem to get rid of white frames (whole frames) appearing, during playback in kdenlive and in a rendered file, at the point where transitions (inc. e.g. dissolves, composites and also using effects stacks on clips) take place.

so if i press 'play', the whites frames more often than not appear, then go once the transition is passed and yet, if i manually drag the 'play/position' marker down the sequence (if that makes sense) then it seems to play ok oddly.

i have removed all other effects (to uncomplicate it) and just left the transitions, but that hasn't helped.

i hope i have explained it well enough, though probs not :).

Anyone any ideas of what i can try or where i am going wrong?
would it help if i posted a pic of my edit screen at least, to show what i have got set up?

thanks for your suggestions etc

after trying all sorts, decided to change format of source clips from the mp4 to mpeg1. this did the trick!
i'm guessing that kdenlive wasn't happy with some bits in the clips in the format supplied.
