What you guys think about effect of camera display, something like this:
http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/images/stories/2008/october-2008/sigma-dp1-camera-screen-shot-1.jpg http://community.avid.com/cfs-filesystemfile.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Components.PostAttachments/00.00.18.49.80/HFX-In-Camera-effect.JPG image on the top of video with all usual stuffs about the video and camera - battery level, ISO, number of video, timeline, and also the red REC indicator! of course it can be add as a composite and png image, but would it be good as a effect in software? Your ideas? |

That information do not need to be a real, it could be fake also :D

OK, then you should just use an image with composite. Doing a special filter just for this is silly and to answer your question "would it be good as a effect in software?" Yes, as long as the image is large as the video and of the same aspect.
