I'm pulling my hair out here trying to figure out how to get the slideshow clip function to set up correctly. I want to take a set of photos, have the photos display for 3 seconds each, with a one second dissolve transition. after putting the settings into the clip, i try running it in the clip monitor and the transitions are only 3 frames long. 3 frames is not a second of video. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to set up a slideshow clip in kdenlive 0.7.6 ?? I have searched all over and can't find one.

3 seconds is 00:00:03:00 not 00:00:00:03. If you did that correctly, and it still looks short, realize that the realtime frame-dropping attribute of the preview window might be affecting it. Render a portion of it as something quick-n-dirty like MPEG-4 2000k, and then check the output in a media player.
