Hi,

I'm fairly new to kdenlive, but experienced in Adobe Premiere.
The first thing I'm trying to achieve in kdenlive is a simple rotating image in the background.
But the image always seems to deform while rotating.
I've tried redimensioning the original image, because at first it was a perfect square,
so I gave it the same dimensions as the video, but to no avail...

Can anyone help me out, please ?

How do you rotate your image?
For me it works fine using both the affine transition and the rotate and shear effect.
What versions of Kdenlive and MLT do you use?

I can confirm this bug. I fixed in MLT git. The fix will be in the next MLT release v0.5.6 due this month.
