I can select a transition effect. What I do lack are the kind of transition effects that are available in openshot video editor.

I have taken a screenshot of it so that you can all understand what I mean.

Where are the effects that can be seen in the picture at the left side? Or are they not available in Kdenlive?

Okay, guys, I figured it out for myself. It is under wipe that I can find the wipes that I am looking for.
