Can anyone tell me how to align text in a title clip that consists of multiple lines of different lengths of text and have them centered both vertically and horizontally? As an example here is what I mean (each text on a different line and centered both ways as above)
Example: September 20, 2009 My First KdenLive Video Line for the actual title of My Video As you can see the lines of text are of different lengths. I would like them centered vertically and horizontally. |

if you want them centered horizontally you just click the align center button when you're in the title clip creation screen, it's over on the right side. as far as vertically, you just move it up and down in the title clip creation editor where you like it, if you go back to the time line and don't like it, double click it in your clips section on the left and move it up or down again. good luck

Thank you. That's just what I'm looking for. It's too bad the manual for this is so poor. This is a great video editor but the lack of recent documentation is appalling.

appalling is NOT the word i would have used. The dev's i'm sure are very busy people. In the open source world, if you want something faster then you do it yourself. Learn it and document it if you'd like...

I think the best current instructional material are videos: on this site, vimeo, and YouTube.
