I have been watching a few video tutorials, not knowing anything about composite effects and how I can use them.
In the videos I have seen, the composite effect has loads of options with it, for example, j-b-ms panaroma video - http://www.kdenlive.org/tutorial/kdenlive-creating-video-panorama But on current kdenlive (latest from sunab), there are no such options, has this all changed in recent kdenlive? Sorry for my ignorance, just confused by it all. I want to put 3 clips next to each other, resized to fit. I was doing this previously with pan and zoom along with composite transition, but updated kdenlive today and get an odd effect when putting a composite transition on, the top video gets resized and put at the top left of the lower video. With proxy clips turned off, this doesn't happen, very odd. This is why I started looking round at tutorials and saw all of the options I was missing out on with composite effect. Screenshots below with proxy on and proxy off I will be going back to using the release ppa from sunab, had a lot of problems on svn (to be expected, not complaining), but my project file has been upgraded, so won't open in 0.8 now. There was a recent change in MLT that broke Kdenlive's transitions. I fixed it in Kdenlive's svn revision 5631
