Hard to describe this, took some screenshots, so that should help...
I have 3 clips on 3 video tracks, with a composite effect on 1 and 2. They all have scale and tilt applied, so they appear as 3 clips next to each other. I then cut the end off each of the clips, so I could slow the last bit down, each time I add the speed effect, the clips ends up as a duplicate of track 1, so I end up with 3 identical clips next to each other, check screenshots. Also, each of these 3 clips are the same length, yet after adding the same speed effect to each, one is a different length. Some corruption in the project file somewhere I guess, thought it would be worth posting, hopefully it can be tracked and corrected. Link to project file also below Cheers Project file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/419095/2011-06-04-kdenlive/5-a-side.kdenlive Adding 1st zoom http://i.imgur.com/Y9rPQ.png Adding 2nd zoom http://i.imgur.com/tyiW5.png Adding 3rd zoom http://i.imgur.com/BMtRN.png |

OK, quick update.
Tried doing this with proxy turned off for the clip in question, but the same thing happened. So I made a note of the crop start and crop end for each of the 3 clips Clip 1 1:26.23 4:00.17 Clip 2 5:03.12 0:24.03 Clip 3 4:22.16 1:04.24 I then applied the speed effect and checked the crop details again CLip 1 2:04.04 5:43.23 Clip 2 7:13.14 0:34.11 Clip 3 6:15.05 1:32.22 Looks like these are coming out of the random number generator, they shouldn't change at all and don't reflect what is on the timeline, which is 3 identical clips. I tried manually changing the crop start and finish to what they were before, but this again changed all 3 clips to the same and it was somewhere completely different to the original anyway, bizarre! I then tried moving the clips so they were not on top of each other and played them on their own and they played as expected, 3 different clips, only when they are stacked do they start replicating each other. Rendering that part of the timeline does render as duplicated clips |

Another update, thought I would get around this by creating a new project with just these clips in and then inserting that into my main project. Unfortunately, with a fresh project, no proxy clips turned on, this still happens, screenshot attached.
Also, when replicating this in the new project, I noticed some discrepancies between duration of the proxy clips in the main project I was taking the crop start and end from and the duration of the HD clips in my smaller temp project, the proxy clips were all showing as 3 frames shorter. Hopefully I have explained enough to get these sorted, will move all this over to a bug report if there is enough info here http://i.imgur.com/UXsQ7.jpg |
