I have installed RecordMyDesktop and configured it from Kdenlive settings -> Capture -> Screen grab. Than I went to Record Monitor and and clicked Record button. Nothing is happend... recording didn't start. This works fine on my Ubuntu 10.10, but doesn't work on 10.04

Does anybody know the reason and how could it be fixed?

Some updates... we have upgraded Kdenlive to the latest version and Record button works and captures screen but the OGV file is not played correctly. Even if we record desctop using RecordMyDesktop application and then try to import it into Kdenlive it will be played incorrectly - the video clip is spoiled.

Seeking in Ogg Theora does not work well in FFmpeg and hence Kdenlive. This was just fixed in FFmpeg on Nov 29!
