I'm trying to use a stand alone title clip. Meaning, I want to have the Title clip play by itself with a white background and blue text before I play my video. I'm not having a problem doing this except for the fact that I am getting a black background. I keep trying to change it to a white color and then when I go to add it, it's still black. I did notice a box to check or uncheck for default and I still seem to get the black background. I'm trying to do this in the window to add a title. Am I doing this in the wrong place? I have a feeling that I have a setting sommewhere else that is defaulted to "black" Please advise? Thanks, Rich H

On the right side of the Title clip dialog, you have a "Background" tab. There you can set the color and opacity. I have to say that the "Opacity" setting is rather obscure since there is no label. Set it to 255 to have an opaque backgroundImage

The default background opacity is 0. Change it to 255.
