I don't know how to mix text with images on Kdenlive

I mean making the text appear on top of an image. Or in front of an image

First add the image/clip/whatever to the timeline, then the text clip one track above the other clip. This will automatically create a Composite transition betwenn the two clips.

You can also manually adding a transition by right-clicking on the clip in the timeline and selecting «Add Transition», or by clicking at the lower left/right edge of the clip in the timeline (you will see a green triangle flashing up).
