hi, I cant open the enhancements options in kdenlive 8.0 in Ubuntu 11.04 I could in 10.04?

my install of 11.04 was fresh last night. I can open all the other effects.

I guess you are talking about the "Enhancement" effects category. It contains 3 effects that come from frei0r:

Nikon D90 fix, Denoiser and Sharpen

First make sure you have installed the latest frei0r package, then from a terminal, type:

melt -query filters

You will see a long list of effects, and it should contain the following 3 items:

frei0r.d90stairsteppingfix, frei0r.hqdn3d, frei0r.sharpness

If you don't have them, then your frei0r package probably does not include them
