I would like to mimic the news and twitter ticker you see at newschannels like CNN. How do i go about this in KDENLIVE? (and how is something like that called in english)

Excuse me if this is the kazillionth time this question is posted but i could not find it in Google or the sitesearch here..

I'm not sure of the best way to do this. I tried it out just using the Kdenlive title editor and the Pan & Zoom effect and that worked for getting the text to scroll across the screen. But you probably want the text to scroll across the bottom of the screen inside of a rectangle with nice borders or some other fancy design. I'm not sure of the best way to do that. You'd probably want to create something with GIMP or Inkscape, but I'm not very good with those apps.

As for what it's called in English, "ticker" works, but it's more often referred to as a "crawler".
