Hello everyone

I try to get a smooth transition effect between two video clips. At the last 10 seconds of the first clip it should start with a smooth transition effect to the second clip. With two pictures this effect successfully works with the "dissolve" effect. When i try to use this dissolve effect for videos, i only get a heavy unrecognizable mixed flickering of both videos.

How can i get a smooth transition in the end of the first and the beginning of the second clip?

Maybe also from the middle of the first clip to the beginning of the second clip?!?

Does it work OK if you switch the project settings to a progressive scan version of the same profile?

Sorry for the question, but how can i do this in the profile. It´s my first time for this software / creating video clips :-/.

On the render dialogue box, switch "scanning" from auto to progressive, see screenshot. This has fixed the same problem for me in the past
