Hello
I am using Gentoo Linux. I have kdenlive 0.9.6 and mlt 0.9.0. I have installed frei0r plugins and I have many frei0r filters available in kdenlive, but no filter for color balance. What can I do in order to get it ? Thanks in advance Michael edit: I have frei0r_balanc0r.xml in proper directory, but it doesn't show in kdenlive |

What does it say in frei0r_balanc0r.xml ? - Mine says <name>White Balance</name> which means that this is going to appear as the white balance effect

Hello. I will paste You the whole balancor file (it's short)
It seems we have the same <name> line. In one of my later posts I wrote, that I notice, that I am missing most colour effects, not only balanc0r. |

So do you have a White Balance effect in the Colour Correction group then ? You don't get a balanc0r effect. You get a white balance effect. The xml tells you what the effect is names in kdenlive.

Hello. Unfortunately I don't have it. In the Colour Correction group I have only these three: Brightness, Brightneess (keyframable), Gamma.

Hmm.
I have the 11 listed here http://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual ... Correction This must be something screwy with your versions. I am running some daily build version of kdenlive (not built recently !) ./ start-kdenlive -v reports: libvpx: commit fc1cfd8e32ebda56ca86e2ed2d5036a77148e197 Date: Wed Jun 26 19:02:02 2013 -0700 x264: commit d967c09cd93a230e03ec1e0f0f696975d15a01c0 Date: Tue Dec 11 16:05:34 2012 +0100 frei0r: commit b1faa09f4dfcf63d19d2cb9fc598a583e1df1c33 Date: Mon Apr 15 16:32:00 2013 +0200 FFmpeg: commit e4198d2fc3d98d076240530e095608272671f61d Date: Thu Jun 27 02:01:38 2013 +0200 mlt: commit 31e70f01d93d5465d96b2842780fccd1d9bc6ade Date: Sun Jun 23 23:13:38 2013 -0700 kdenlive: commit 1f0072e81e683935793ae5c42e7f3950b9683ae9 Date: Mon Jun 10 11:12:39 2013 +0200 Qt: 4.8.1 KDE Development Platform: 4.8.5 (4.8.5) Kdenlive: 0.9.7 (rev. v0.9.6-134-g1f0072e) You could try running a dailybuild version. If you do that it installs a complete working kdenlive ecosytstem in a sandbox so it does not effect the rest of your installed packages. eg my main frei0r is version 1.4.0+git20130403.245bb387-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 but my daily build version is different. See http://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual ... ily_builds for more info on installing dailybuilds |
