Hi,

There are 3 video clips (each with their own separate title clips) and each living on a separate track in kdenlive project. So 3 clips+3 title clips = 6 individual tracks. I have rendered it and the video seems fine. Please see http://imgur.com/SprRBgS[/img] to get an idea. Till this everything seems oK.

Problem:
I have a new title clip with text(not a template, the text wont change) that needs to appear alongside the above three clips in the final rendering. What i did is to add this title clip to the track with contains the title clip for the first video. So, on the first track, there are two title clips now. And i extended to length of the clip such that it covers the whole duration of the above 3 videos. Now, this new title is displayed alongside the first video but the later 2 videos disappear. (I am definitely doing something wrong since this title clip has to be in 'composition' relation with the last 2 videos i think).

First of all, is it alright to have 2 title clips in the same kdenlive track? Second, what is the right way to achieve what i want to do? Thanks a bunch for your help.

P.S: I am working on a video editing project using kdenlive. I am very new to video editing and in fact to kdenlive, i am a 1 day old noob to kdenlive.

You don't really need and those tracks, just put all your clips and titles on one track, one after the other. Now on a track just above, drag the other title clip to cover all of them.

Sorry, my post is a little misleading....well, I knew what I was trying to say Your image is also a little misleading as it shows 4 video clips with titles and a single title clip on track 1. I assumed, from your post, that you wanted the title clip on track 1 or another title clip to show over the top of all the other clips and their respective title clips, right?

I will explain further if that is correct.
