I'm trying to use the "Crop, Scale and Position" effect.
I have a screencast I recorded and I want to crop it so I only have the windows of interest and place it into a 720p video. The cropped area is smaller than 1280x720. I cannot figure out how to place the clip so that the pixels are mapped 1 to 1. In other words, if I cut out a 100x100 window for my screencast, I want it to take up 100x100 pixels in my video. The default scale of 50 is such that the uncropped width and height of the clip is scaled to match my output width and height. Any tips? |

I think I figured it out.
Use "Pan and Zoom" to place the video. Press the original size button in the effect settings. Then add "Crop, Scale, and Position" to do the cropping. Do not use the scaling function of this effect. This effect only allows integers in the parameters. |
