Dear kdenlive experts

I have tried to encode camcorder avi type II video consisting of about 12 clips of various length into an x264 or xvid or mpeg2 video. Rendering stopped at a certain point of time during the encoding process with the following error message: "WARNING: QApplication was not created in the main() thread" and in the terminal: "holidays2012.mp4 aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted." Sometimes the error message came with additional information such as the following:

1. mpeg
WARNING: QApplication was not created in the main() thread.
[mpeg @ 0x7f6a683913a0] VBV buffer size not set, muxing may fail

2. ogg
WARNING: QApplication was not created in the main() thread.
[mpeg @ 0x7f6a683913a0] VBV buffer size not set, muxing may fail
Rendern von /home/jochen1/kdenlive/Unbenannt.mp4 abgestürzt
WARNING: QApplication was not created in the main() thread.
[libx264 @ 0x7feb903937e0] interlace + weightp is not implemented

Since I can still encode certain shorter or longer parts of the video I can not exclude that something is wrong with my source material or the way I cut and rearranged the clips.

The source material I produced 2 years ago or so by importing it from my SD camcorder onto my PC and subsequently converting it from the dv formate file into an avi type II formate file. Unfortunately the original dv file is not available anymore.

Has anybody of you an idea of how I could fix the problem?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Kind regards

Jochen
