Hello,

I love Crop, Scale and Position effect http://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual ... e_and_Tilt - it is irreplaceable.

I want to know only why units are not matched with clip resolution.

When I set effect to any clip default Scale X and Scale Y are 50, but 50 of what? Kdenlive knows what size is my clip - if my project is 1920x1080px 16:9 and I put clip 1920x1080px 16:9 start values of Scale X / Y should be 100 / 100 if we are talking about percentage units.

If I put 720x480px clip on timeline of project 1920x1080px it fills to project size, clip should displays proportional almost 3x smaller, and the scale effect values are also 50/50.

I wish in default see every added smaller or larger clip as smaller or larger than project size.

Thanks
Piotr

If I remember correctly, the size actually seems to be the half extend in each dimension. Don't ask my why. But I noticed this as the positioning parameters actually reference the center and not the top left corner. Not exactly what one would expect, but we have to live with this parameter design, I'm afraid.
