Eg. I have video fade transition with path Black, If I wish to change transition to other color eg. pink. I need to add clip color to eg. "video path 2", and use fade transitions with "video path 2", it works ok.

I suggest to next version add to list under Black, new option "Select color" with color picker. Or select color instead Black, with eg. default black.

If you are interested in your voice being heard, you will need to first convince the MLT developers to upgrade the corresponding MLT transition. When you have done this, you'll next need to file a bug report on Kdenlive to support this upstream change.
